DÍA 10: CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE & CPI TOURAL

Hoy fue interesante. Yo me desperté muy tarde y tenia que darme prisa para estar lista. Fuimos a la otra escuela. La escuela se llama CPI o Toural. Primero, nosotros comimos chocolate con churros.  Me gusta el chocolate con churros es un desayuno  muy rico.

Today was interesting.  I woke up very late and had to hurry to get ready on time. We went to visit the other school.  The school is called CPI Toural.  First, we ate churros with chocolate.  I like churros with chocolate its a delicious breakfast. 

Después, los chicos españoles y americanos jugaron un partido de fútbol.  Por segunda vez y vi el partido con Peter, Mia, Hailey, Tiana, y Caitlin. Fue la primera vez que yo hable con Hailey .  Es muy simpática. Su hermana española, Vanessa, va al instituto que visitamos hoy. Esta es la segunda vez que Haley viene en el programa de intercambio. Así que, normalmente Haley estaba con el grupo por mucho tiempo.  No se quien ganó el partido. Sinceramente, casi no preste atención al partido. Me divertí más con mis nuevos y viejos amigos.

Later on, the Spanish and American boys played a soccer game. For the second time, I watched the game with Peter, Mia, Hailey, Tiana, y Caitlin.  This was the first time I ate spoke with Hailey. She is very nice.  Her Spanish host sister, Vanessa, goes to the high school we visited today.  This is the 2nd time that Haley participates in the immersion program. As a result, Haley normally doesn’t spend much time with us. Anyhow, I don’t know who won the game. Honestly, I wasn’t paying attention.  I was enjoying the time with my new and old friends.

Después del instituto, nosotros caminamos a un rio. El rio era enorme.  Yo tenia miedo de que iba a caerme.  Yo no tengo mucho equilibrio. También a mi no me gusta alturas. Cuando yo tenia nueve anos yo me rompí mi pierna y ahora me dan pánico las alturas.  Después, fuimos a la escuela para descansar.  Pero yo no pedí descansar.  Un grupo de chicas españoles paso tiempo hablando conmigo.  Siempre, me decían que yo soy muy guapa y maja.  Según Maestra, maja significa dulce o adorable que yo no lo sabia.  Antes, muchas personas me dijeron esa palabra y yo no entendí.  Pero ahora yo entiendo.  Me gustan las chicas de la escuela española son graciosas y simpáticas.  Después, yo escuché la música con Peter.  Por supuesto, la música fue en español.   Me gusta música española. Me gusta música española mucha.  Mi hermana, Antia, y yo caminábamos a la casa. Es un paseo muy fácil.

Afterwards, we walked to the river. The river is enormous.  I was afraid of falling in. I don’t have a great sense of balance. I also don’t particularly like heights. When I was nine years old I broke my leg and now I’m afraid of heights. A group of Spanish girls and I spent a lot of time chatting. They always referred to me as pretty and “maja”. According to Maestra McNeilly-Anta “maja” means” sweet and adorable; however, I didn’t know that at the time. I like the girls from the Spanish school they are funny and friendly. Then I listened to music with Peter. The music was all in Spanish.  I like Spanish music a lot.  My host sister and I walked home. It’s a very easy.

Para el almuerzo, comimos comida tradicionalmente española.  Yo comí pescados fritos y tortilla española.  Fue una sorpresa pero a mi me encantaron los pescados fritos.  Yo podía comer esos por un día entero.  Yo comí siete pescados fritos.  Tomé un descanso después del almuerzo –una pequeña siesta.

For lunch, we had a traditional Spanish meal. I ate little fried fish and a Spanish omelet. I was surprised that I really liked the fish. I could have eaten them all day long. I ate seven fish. I took a small break after lunch –a short siesta.

Por la tarde, yo mire la tele en español.  Ellos tenían Austin y Ally en español. Es el mismo programa pero es en españolJ.  Era extraño.  A Antia le gusta  mucho Austin y Ally. Mas tarde nos fuimos  a la playa.  Nos encontramos con muchísimas personas y  después fuimos a un restaurant para cenar.  Yo pedí una hamburguesa. Fue enorme y deliciosa pero y yo no pude comérmela toda.

In the afternoon, I watched TV.  They had Austin & Ally show. It’s the same show we watch in the USA but in Spanish J.  It was definitely strange to watch it isn Spanish. Antia really likes Austin & Ally show.  Later on, we went to the beach. We meet up with a lot of people and went to dinner. I ordered a hamburger.  It was enormous and delicious but I was not able to at all of it.
